In addition to the First Home Buyers Grant, West Australian First Home Buyers receive further financial support through the Home Buyers Assistance scheme.
Under the scheme, first home buyers who purchase an established or partially built home through a licensed real estate agent receive a grant of up to $2,000. To be eligible, the purchase price must not exceed $400,000. The scheme is administered by Real Estate & Business Agents Supervisory Board.

What can I use the home buyers assistance account for?
The Home Buyers Assistance Account grant can be used to cover – registration fees, solicitor and/ or conveyancing fees, valuation fees, inspection fees, establishment fees, mortgage insurance premiums and lending institution fees associated with lodging the application.
First home buyer concession on stamp duty
West Australian First Home Buyers are also entitled to a transfer stamp duty concession on properties with a dutiable value of up to $600,000 for a house and land, or $400,000 for vacant land.
If the property includes a home:

| $500,000 – $600,000 | $22.51 per $100 or part of $100 above $500,000 |
For vacant land:
